We created the Brothers BE to spread a message of Peace, Love, Joy, and Laughter for YOU, the eco-conscious consumer. All of our energy infused products are made from either recycled or organic materials, period. Our line of super soft and comfy BE Wear is woven from a 60% viscose hemp/40% organic cotton blend which is totally sustainable and made in the USA!

Our mission is for all you groovy folks out there to feel great wearing the softest fabric you'll ever feel next to your skin, while experiencing the Peace of knowing you have reduced your impact on Mother Earth. We want to congratulate you for buying sustainable clothing at an ultra affordable price and helping us all spread fun and positive messages at the same time.

The idea of BE started some years back as the two of us were hanging out at our place in southern Vermont. Our vision was to inspire others to share that "down home" comfortable, simple, earth friendly living that we associated with BEing in Vermont. We kicked off a venture called "BE in Vermont" with the thought that you don't need to actually be in Vermont to "BE" in Vermont. "BEing in Vermont" to us, meant simple, eco-conscious, green, relaxed and joyful living.

We soon BEgan a campaign that almost got picked up by the Vermont Tourism Bureau. Our first product was a "BE in Vermont" pin designed to look like the cool "ski" pins we grew up with in the shape of a "black diamond." Guess folks didn't think it was as cool as we thought, since we had trouble even giving them away.

 

Without BEing discouraged we designed our next product, a "BE in Vermont" car magnet that looked just like a jack-o-lantern...... or so we thought! Vermont Tourism didn't "see" it enough to make it available for all the Vermont lovers, so we ended up donating them to the Manchester, VT Pumpkin Festival in 2008 and so it goes.

 

A few years later, life brought us out to the left coast where we rolled up our sleeves and launched "The Brothers BE" at Earth Day in Santa Barbara in 2010. We love Vermont and always will, and California has brought us new found inspiration in spreading our positive, earth-friendly messages while BEing guided by Spirit.

We "Zenned" up our logo and broke into some new products including our first "BE" shirt made from a 70% recycled cotton/30% recycled polyester blend. Having a passion for Grateful Dead music and culture, our first message was "BE Grateful, Go Furthur," all in the spirit of honoring the original Grateful Dead band and supporting the newest incarnation of the Dead..... Furthur with the "Buddha Bear" on the back (also paying tribute to Bob Thomas' artwork of the Grateful Dead bears). We also saw it as a double entendre, if you were to "BE Grateful" you would "Go Furthur" on life's journey.

 

Our next product was our "Ultimate BE"..... a genuine Wham-O Ultimate Frisbee® made from recycled polyethylene plastic which has proven to BE very popular. Since our humble BEginnings we've expanded our BE Wear with a variety of BE shirt and Hoodie designs. To spread our message we've hit the festival circuit by storm and expanded into several retail shops.

 

Now, we're gearing up for the next phase in our journey... so to say "Thank You" to all of our awesome customers we are having a HUGE blowout sale of all our present designs.
